Thought you might like to see my IT department, Ben and Samantha Baker and Avery. Imagine what these little ones will see in their lifetimes, eh?
Not much to report for the start of week three. Still looking for the right recipe to deal with the effects of the treatments. My two nurses, Ann and Betty took a shot at it today - see the docs tomorrow, my "long" day.
Ric and Deb came down from Port Austin for a few days here in Brighton. Look forward to the laughter that we always seem to share and the break from the routine.

Good time at the "Machala Motel!" So glad to see that the treatments are going well for you, Ken. Your side effects so far are annoying, but you certainly don't seem "sick". Keep your positive attitude going, and as long as that little Avery is around, I know you'll be smilin'!
ReplyDeleteKen, I looked up what a photon is, and I found:
ReplyDeletea photon is a quantum of visible light or other form of electromagnetic radiation demonstrating both particle and wave properties. How interesting is that?!
Rick
It is interesting...and confusing. All I know is it's more powerful than Superman's x ray vision, makes me cough alot and kills all the bad stuff. Sure was great having you two down here for a few days - sorry I wasn't better company

Wow, week three and you have about as much radiation in you as a Lake Erie walleye.
ReplyDeleteNow that your toughest day (today) is behind you, you now only need to do this day 4 more times. As my dad says in golf -- as long as you hit the ball, you've made forward progress. Every day that goes by during treatment is forward progress.
Hang in there...Tuesday is done. Get some rest, and I hope those nurses found a better recipe for recovery.
